President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that “subject to the complete, immediate and safe reopening of the Strait of Hormuz” he would agree to “suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks.” He also labeled the agreement a “double-sided ceasefire” which would allow for peace talks while adding the U.S. has “already met and exceeded all military objectives” in Iran.
