Top East African Economy Kenya Plans Carbon Exchange by 2027


Kenya will house the bourse in the Nairobi International Financial Center, a legal and regulatory framework that gives qualifying companies incentives to base financial operations in the country. These include halving the corporate income tax rate to 15% from 30% for a decade for any firm that owns or operates a carbon-market exchange locally, Mainda said.
