Has all of that Elden Ring on Switch 2 got you craving some retro FromSoft? And we mean real retro FromSoft, none of your new-fangled Demon’s or Dark Souls nonsense, but something more old-school, like King’s Field? Well, Queen’s Domain might be right up your street.

This is a first-person RPG from indie dev Freshly Baked Games, and it wears its inspo proudly on its sleeve. From the retro-fantasy aesthetic to the tough-looking, stamina-based combat, this has got PS1 goodness written all over it.

It has racked up over 180,000 wishlists on Steam since its initial reveal, and the dev has today revealed that it’ll also launch on Switch 2 on 30th October, with Future Friends on publishing duties.

The release date lands right in the middle of one of the busier release periods in recent memory, but it could be well worth a look if you’re after some classic combat ahead of Zelda month.
