The unspoken testimony in the Lindsay Clancy trial


Dozens of witnesses were called over three weeks in the murder trial of Lindsay Clancy to testify about what led up to and followed the killing of her three young children. But one person who didn’t take the stand was Clancy herself. Both the prosecution and defense, however, read extensively from Clancy’s diary entries from the months leading up to the killings in a coastal Massachusetts town in 2023. Misty Marris breaks down what each side read from the diaries, and what they suggested her unspoken words mean for the case.
