The Star Wars Lightsaber Salt and Pepper Grinders Are on Sale at Amazon

I recently put together a list of practical Star Wars gifts for May the Fourth celebrations, and while Star Wars Day has now passed, fans are still very interested in the official lightsaber salt and pepper grinders. Amazon is offering them at a discounted price and, honestly, I can see why people love them. It’s the perfect upgrade from salt and pepper shakers to that grinder lifestyle. They also look like straight-up lightsabers.

What I really like about these salt and pepper grinders is that they have a legitimate use in the kitchen. I’d consider myself a decent cook, but I definitely feel more akin to a “home chef” when I actually grind my own salt and pepper. I’ve also found that freshly cracked pepper just tastes better than pre-ground pepper, so I’d highly recommend getting a grinder if you don’t already have one.

As for these particular Star Wars-themed grinders, they appear to work quite well. I dove pretty deep into the Amazon reviews before recommending this set and everyone who bought it seemed quite pleased with their purchase. Each mill has the option to adjust how fine or course you want the grind to be and works fully automatically at the touch of a button. They are fully-functional pepper grinders that look like they’ve been installed into recycled lightsaber hilts.

In addition to the salt and pepper grinders, I did actually find some other pretty legit Star Wars products worth checking out. The sci-fi franchise has been around for a really long time, so it’s no surprise it has now fully integrated itself into household products. If you’re looking for something subtle to add to your kitchen, I’d recommend going with May the Fork Be With You or those ChopSabers. Both can be easily stored in a utensil drawer for special occasions or every day use.

If you’re looking for something more obviously Star Wars, the Millenium Falcon Waffle Maker is a solid choice. It’s from Uncanny Brands, the same manufacturer of the grinders, and literally shapes your waffles into a Millenium Falcon.
