The pros & cons of opening a Trump Account if you’re not eligible for $1,000


The Trump administration officially launched its Trump Account initiative earlier this week, which will open up tax-advantaged savings accounts for children born from 2025 to 2028.

Even if someone is not eligible for the $1,000 contribution, should they still open up a Trump Account?

Mitlin Financial Founder Lawrence Sprung sits down with Brian Sozzi to discuss the the pros and cons of these types of accounts for someone under 18 who isn’t eligible for that seed money.
