Here’s a quick roundup of the latest news from leading denim brands.
Ksubi
Ksubi’s new collection reflects the growing trend for denim with tactile surfaces.
The Australian streetwear brand released its first-ever Flocked Denim collection spanning wide-leg and straight fits for men.
The jeans are made from European rigid corduroy denim and black and brown stretch denim with flocked coatings. Ksubi used laser machines to burn 3D pattern directly into the fabrics to create depth, shadow and contrast. Meanwhile, enzymes and stone washing further enhanced the jeans’ worn-in finish.
The result is “a dimensional take on denim that feels equal parts technical and undone,” the brand stated.

No44
No44 has an unexpected message to consumers: fashion doesn’t always have to be new.
The Bucharest-based brand recently launched “For Good,” a fall campaign that frames jeans as a product that endures seasons.
“For Good looks beyond the constant rhythm of newness and returns to what matters: pieces designed with intention, silhouettes that remain relevant beyond a season, and denim that becomes more personal the longer it is worn,” the brand stated. “The jeans you reach for again and again. The silhouettes you return to. The pieces that move from one season into the next, changing with you, not disappearing with the moment.”
To drive home this point, the brand focused on clean lines and classic silhouettes and rigid fabrications. New women’s styles include the Celene, a mid-rise, straight leg jean; the Ellis, a high-waisted jean with a slight barrel leg; the Lily flare; and the Nari, a jean with an adjustable hem with buttons for a more tapered, relaxed silhouette.

Wrangler
Wrangler is enhancing the strength of its riding jeans.
The Kontoor Brands-owned label recently launched the women’s High Rise Bell Trouser Rider Jean reinforced with Dyneema fibers. The high-rise jean has a performance waistband and full trouser leg. Wrangler said Dyneema is 15-times tougher than steel yet light enough to float on water, giving riders durability without the weight of traditional heavy-duty gear.
Additionally, the heritage denim brand released a second women’s drop at Target this week. New styles include high-rise barrel-leg jeans and high-rise chap seamed bootcut jeans. Earlier this month, Wrangler launched women’s in Target stores and online. At the time of the launch, Holly Wheeler, Wrangler’s vice president of global marketing, said the partnership with Target is an example of how the brand is “creating new ways for consumers to discover Wrangler and experience our iconic heritage through styles that feel relevant to their lives today.”
Levi’s
Levi’s is in its ’90s alt-rock era. The brand recently launched the Levi’s x The Smashing Pumpkins Tee Collection.
The collection features five tees with designs that represent defining moments throughout the band’s career. It includes the Infinite Sadness Tour Tee, Star Tee, Heart Tee, and Altitude Not. Designs draw from the look and feel of authentic ’90s band merchandise. Each top features Levi’s woven labels authentic to the decade’s branding, while custom hangtags add collectible value.
“The Smashing Pumpkins created music and imagery that have resonated across generations,” said Leo Gamboa, Levi’s vice president of collaborations. “We wanted to celebrate everything that makes the band so iconic—from their music to the imagery and the spirit that surrounded it.”
Levi’s previously released T-shirt collections with Oasis and Sonic Youth.
