Lego K-Pop Demon Hunters: Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird (825 pieces)

It’s been about a year since KPop Demon Hunters made its big debut on Netflix, and it’s hard to say what people love more: the songs, the visuals, Jinu’s bad boy vibe, or Rumi’s moment of truth when she embraces who she is for the first time. One of my personal favorite highlights is Derpy the tiger and his magpie buddy Sussie, and now Lego has announced a new set featuring the dynamic duo launching August 1. Fans can preorder the 825-piece set for $70 at Lego’s online store.

The main part of the 825-piece build is a posable Derpy Tiger figure that lets you adjust everything his head, legs, and paws, and customize his expression with the included removable tongue piece. The Sussie figure features a rotating neck and movable feet. The set also includes Sussie’s flowerpot and Juni’s “Hello, Friend” and “Save the Date” notes as accessories. If you pop Sussie into his favorite spot on Derpy’s head, this kit measures 8.5 inches high, 6 inches long, and 6 inches wide.
Derpy was designed by Wes Talbott, Senior Design Master in the LEGO Group, who said the project was “an instant yes” for him. “I had already watched the movie a few times, and as soon as I heard about it, I knew I wanted to work on it,” Talbott says. “It’s just one of those stories you want to share.”
If you’re wondering if there will be more Kpop Demon Hunters Lego sets on the way, good news: Lego says “this is just the beginning” on its new Kpop Demon Hunters page, so chances are the company will announce more sets soon. (Please don’t sleep on Bobby, Lego!)
