As a fashion editor, it’s my job to be on the look out at all times for upcoming trends. Sure, I could tell you about the key colours to wear (hello, red + purple) or the prints (stripes are set to take over from polka dots) but sometimes it’s the little non-trend pieces that become popular. Enter: Henley tops.

Previously part of a rowing uniform, and aptly named after Henley-on-Thames, the collarless tops with half button-down detail have become a favourite among stylish women all over Europe. French girls Anne-Laure Mais and Salomé Mory have been pairing their long sleeve versions with satin skirts and shorts. Meanwhile, in London, Kim Turkington wore a T-shirt version with timeless jeans and Trishna Goklani has given everyone an outfit to copy when the weather gets cooler.
