It’s a feeling most of us know all too well. As we sit on the cusp of spring—otherwise known as “wrong jacket season”—getting dressed suddenly becomes far more complicated. Unsurprisingly, this is the point in the year when finding the perfect spring jacket becomes crucial.

During my hunt for the best spring jackets, there were a few silhouettes I knew I wanted to prioritise. Bomber jackets, particularly in leather, suede and wool, continue to dominate thanks to their effortless, off-duty appeal. Classic trench coats remain an enduring staple, while cropped jackets and sculptural funnel-neck styles offer a slightly more fashion-forward take on transitional dressing.
