Taiwan Inflation Tops Central Bank Alert Level on Oil Prices


The faster inflation underscores the worries for central banks across Asia, which is at the center of global manufacturing and tech supply chains that are heavily reliant on imported energy. Taiwan’s economy is roaring on the AI buildout, with the government saying it expected exports to grow by nearly 40% this year, the fastest since 1976.
