The new Max&Co.’s &Co.llaboration project is built around three key words: snap, pack, deploy. 

The brand has teamed with London-based collaborative and regenerative design studio Raeburn. Founded in 2009 by British designer Christopher Raeburn, over the years it has pioneered the reworking of surplus fabrics and the use of recovery textiles and techniques.

The collection’s name spells out its core: Snap, recalling energy and dynamism; Pack, nodding to versatility and packable garments; Deploy, action-ready at all times. 

The two brands merged their elements into a unique language, with outerwear taking center stage and reimagined through Raeburn’s lens, featuring waxed materials, parachute volumes and military touches. Neutral tones like khaki, stone and black are offset by vibrant orange and hot pink. Water-repellent ripstop jackets, anoraks and coats feature drawstring waists and patch pockets while grosgrain details add a touch of style. The pieces are ultra-light, and eco-friendly, mixing recycled down and wadding padding. 

“Max&Co. has a real sense of courage and optimism, which felt incredibly aligned with how we approach design at Raeburn. For me, this collaboration was about merging utility with emotion — taking the functional codes we’re known for and injecting them with a sense of play, color and character. Snap Pack. Deploy. is rooted in adaptability: garments that move with you, evolve with you and are built to last,” the designer said.

“We wanted each piece to feel purposeful but never precious, technically robust yet expressive. Creativity, community and above all collaboration are central to everything we do, and working with Max&Co. allowed us to explore those ideas in a bold, joyful collection that’s full of personality,” he continued.

A digital camouflage jacquard is a key feature of the collection, with two padded jackets, one with a detachable layer for a three-in-one look. Oversize trousers with a voluminous silhouette come from the Raeburn archive, available also in black ripstop fabric. The brand reimagines the Longrun coat in two versions: an oversize bonded wool blend and an ultra-lightweight padded ripstop.

The collection also includes knits and trousers. Sweaters mix comfort and action-ready style, like the wool blend high-neck with zipped shawl collar and nylon sleeves. Trousers come in premium cotton or lightweight tech fabric, pairing with down jackets.

Accessories include a balaclava, arm warmers, beanie and hooded vest designed for layering. Bags include a maxi tote and padded backpack with laptop pocket. A slouched boot with grosgrain accents adds a touch of femininity. The collection’s fun side is summed up by a squirrel mascot.

The &Co.llaborations initiative kicked off with a co-branded capsule for spring 2022 created with Margherita Maccapani Missoni, followed over the seasons with others including British designer Richard Quinn; stylist and fashion editor Anna Dello Russ; designer and curator Duro Olowu, and artist Pietro Terzini, to name a few.
