Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown Reveals the Unusual Way She’ll Play GTA 6

Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has revealed her love for Grand Theft Auto and says she can’t wait for GTA 6 — even though she has an unusual way of playing Rockstar’s blockbuster action series.

While GTA is known for its car chases and flagrant disregard for pedestrian safety, Brown has said that she enjoys playing while also being a “very, very good” person — following the rules of the road and even stopping at the traffic lights.

Speaking on the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast, the Enola Homes actress was asked about her favorite video game of all time — to which she immediately said GTA, and revealed that she held a secret “passion” for it.

“I’m so excited for GTA,” she said, admitting this was the first time she’d discussed the matter publicly. “It’s a passion. I follow the rules in GTA. I don’t break the rules. I stop at the red lights, I never run anyone over.

“My husband is like, ‘Why are you playing this like it’s [The] Sims?'” she continued. “I’m like, ‘I’m gonna go to the strip club… but I’m not going to get drunk.’ I’m very, very good.”

Brown added that she liked to play GTA as if her character was just on their commute to their job, even if missions sometimes required her job to be killing other characters. “I’m not a hitman, I’m a vigilante,” she concluded, sharing her internal rationale for situations such as these.

The past few weeks have seen a flood of information on GTA 6 materialize, as Rockstar finally begins the game’s lengthy marketing campaign ahead of its long-awaited launch this November. While new screenshots of the game look stunning, fans have criticized Rockstar’s decision to sell physical copies with a download code inside rather than a disc, something that perhaps makes more sense following Sony’s shock announcement today that it will eventually kill off PS5 game discs. There’s been more drama behind the scenes, too, as more employees attempt to unionize. Oh, and don’t expect the game to run at 60fps on current consoles, either.
