After a somewhat uninspiring start to its 2026 World Cup campaign, pretournament favorite Spain will look to get back on track on Sunday as it takes on a well-organized Saudi Arabia side in Atlanta.

Spain had been expected to brush aside underdog Cape Verde in its opening fixture last Monday. But Spain was unable to break down the tournament debutants’ resolute defense, with La Roja forced to settle for a hugely disappointing scoreless draw. As a result, head coach Luis de la Fuente Castillo may be left reassessing his strongest starting lineup for the remainder of the tournament.

It could prove another tricky test for the Spanish attack if Saudi Arabia’s opening performance against Uruguay is anything to go by. Having taken the lead in the 41st minute, the Green Falcons were unlucky not to hold out for a win against the more fancied South Americans. The game eventually ended in a 1-1 draw.

Spain takes on Saudi Arabia in this Group H match on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, with kickoff set for 12 p.m. ET local time. That makes it a 9 a.m. PT start on the West Coast in the US and Canada, a 5 p.m. BST start in the UK and a 2 a.m. AEST kickoff in Australia on Monday.

Fox will show every US Men’s National Team group match, plus every match from the round of 16 onward, including the final. You’ll be able to catch 34 additional matches on FS1. Fox and FS1 are available on services like DirecTV, YouTube TV and Fox One. You can also stream matches from apps in other countries for free using a VPN.

How to watch the 2026 World Cup using a VPN for free

If you’re traveling abroad and want to keep up with all the World Cup action while away from home, a VPN can help enhance your privacy and security when streaming.

It encrypts your traffic and prevents your internet service provider from throttling your speeds. Additionally, it can be helpful when connecting to public Wi-Fi networks while traveling, providing an extra layer of protection for your devices and logins. VPNs are legal in many countries, including the US and Canada, and can be used for legitimate purposes such as improving online privacy and security.

However, some streaming services may have policies restricting VPN use to access region-specific content. If you’re considering a VPN for streaming, check the platform’s terms of service to ensure compliance.

If you choose to use a VPN, follow the provider’s installation instructions to ensure you’re connected securely and in compliance with applicable laws and service agreements. Some streaming platforms may block access when a VPN is detected, so verifying if your streaming subscription allows VPN use is crucial.
