S&P/TSX composite index down in late-morning trading, U.S. markets mixed




TORONTO — Canada’s main stock index wavered in late-morning trading, while U.S. markets were mixed.
The S&P/TSX composite index was down 46.43 points at 36,099.99.
In New York, the Dow Jones industrial average was down 237.
