Amid the buzz of New York Fashion Week coming to a close, it’d be easy to miss some of the standout drops and announcements from recent days — including a New Balance x Miu Miu sneakerina, a Sneex boot and more styles. FN rounds up the shoe news you might not have heard about, with buzzy collaborations and inventive silhouettes in the mix.
Sneex Releases Boots

Sneex released its first-ever boot collection just in time for fall and winter. The boots are built in SuperCritical foam, which is the same technology used in high-performance running shoes, which the brand says has never been done in women’s luxury heels and boots before.
It may look like a classic boot on the outside, while delivering the comfort of a sneaker on the inside. The collection includes the Lincoln Tall Boot and the Lincoln Leather Ankle Boot, in mesh, suede and leather.
Miu Miu x New Balance

Miu Miu
New Balance and Miu Miu are back with another take on the 530 SL — this time fully embracing the sneakerina craze with a feminine ballet flat silhouette. The Miu Miu aesthetic is reinterpreted with a light and contemporary design elevated by the vintage aura of suede and deco leather.
The style features a laced upper and branding nods to both the athletic brand and the Prada subsidiary. Priced at $1,170, the New Balance x Miu Miu 530 SL délavé suede ballerinas are offered in white deco leather and cinnamon suede colorways.
Clarks x Damson Madder

Clarks
Damson Madder x Clarks Originals collection, which launched Thursday, features two fresh takes on Clarks archive styles. The standout Walla Damson reimagines the Wallabee in pillar-box red with hiking-inspired eyelets, tonal vamp lacing and a “Damson Girl” heel motif based on Clarks’ 1970s “Trekman” character.
Meanwhile, the Nomad Damson transforms the Clarks Nomad into a chocolate-plum, open-back Mary Jane mule with double straps and silver “D” and “M” buckles.

Alo expanded its footwear category with the launch of its first-ever boot. The brand’s new Malibu Boot reimagines the popular post-surf silhouette, the Alo way, in two sizes, including a shorter version called the Malibu Low Boot.
Both models are made in suede and are lined with a soft wool-blend interior. Each shoe features a platform wedge, a recovery insole and a generous opening for easy pull-on. The Malibu Boot and Malibu Low will be available in Rich Chestnut, Espresso and Black colorways.

Cowboy boots are having a moment, but for women with bunions or wider feet, finding a pair that feels as good as it looks can be a challenge. Launching Oct. 18, Calla’s new Savannah cowboy boot offers a stylish take on the western trend, designed with women with bunions and wider feet in mind. Calla’s new Savannah cowboy boot offers distinctive western-inspired styling with Calla’s comfort-focused approach for women with bunions, so they can still be stylish while wearing cowboy boots in comfort.
Calla’s footwear is designed with additional room around the forefoot and bunion area, while maintaining a more secure fit through the heel. The brand’s approach is rooted in creating shoes that work with the shape of the foot, without compromising style. The Savannah will retail for $459.
