Shreyas Iyer rises to No. 7 in ICC rankings after maiden T20I century


Iyer is now at a career-best No. 7, the third-highest-placed India batter on the table. Ishan Kishan, who scored an unbeaten 27-ball 37, is at No. 1, with Abhishek Sharma, who hit 21 in ten balls, at No. 2. Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan, England’s Harry Brook and Jos Buttler, and South Africa’s Dewald Brevis are placed between the top two and Iyer.
