Want to save $50 on a grocery order of at least $100 this week? Me too.
If you have a DoorDash DashPass membership (which you can get with a variety of Chase credit cards and activate here), this isn’t necessarily just a nice dream. It’s a real deal only available tomorrow, July 15, for the first 80,000 people who jump on it.
Here are the key details:
- This deal is only valid July 15 with a promo code that will be announced that day, so be sure to use the code and double-check that the savings are reflected in your cart before checking out.
- You must be a DoorDash DashPass member.
- The deal is valid at Kroger and the Kroger Family of Stores on DoorDash.
- Orders must have a minimum subtotal of $100, excluding taxes and fees.
- Pickup orders and alcohol purchases are not valid.
- Fees, taxes and gratuity still apply.
In my experience, these very lucrative DoorDash deal drops go pretty quickly, so you’ll want to pay close attention on July 15 if you want to participate.

Since it’s a delivery-only deal and there are fees, taxes and gratuity involved, the true discount isn’t really half off a $100 cart. Still, it can represent a good savings, especially if you plan on having some groceries delivered this week anyway.
In the interest of speed, it may be a good idea to build your Kroger (or Kroger-affiliated brand) cart ahead of time so you can be ready to use the $50 off promo code when it becomes available. Also, remember that some Chase cards come with monthly DoorDash nonrestaurant credits you can try stacking with this offer, though we’ll have to wait and see if applying those to this deal works.
