Sadie Sink Defies Minimalist Shoe Trend in Givenchy Large Bow Sandals

Sadie Sink decided on a head-to-toe Givenchy moment for her appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday. The actress talked about her role in the upcoming “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” and opted for one of the fashion house’s shoe styles that have been gaining popularity since last year.

The “Stranger Things” star wore a Givenchy Sliced long dress in crepe cady, opting to pair the white dress with Givenchy Boudoir heeled mules. The heeled mules are made in napa sheep leather and are part of the brand’s Boudoir shoe line.

The large memory-shape leather bow retains its volume and structure, decorating the sharp square open-toe sandals. The shoes also feature a 3.7-inch sculpted metal heel with a contrasted diamond-shaped tip.

The shoes retail for $1,390 and are also available in black. They also come in a shorter heel height measuring  2.6 inches, as well as a thong sandal version. The Boudoir line also features mules and sandals with a fringe detail, a giant rose mule and more.

The Boudoir shoes were introduced as part of the Givenchy spring 2026 womenswear show by Sarah Burton in October, and they quickly gained momentum and a few famous supporters have been spotted wearing the bow sandals since.

Elizabeth Olsen wore them in black in November, soon after their debut, to the “Eternity” premiere in New York. She also attended the Givenchy womenswear fall 2026 show as part of Paris Fashion Week on March 6 wearing the style again. She paired them with black leather trousers and a structured, cropped gray blazer.

Sarah Pidgeon wore the same sandals also in black to The Walt Disney Company’s Emmy Season Toast to TV at Soho House Holloway on April 27 in West Hollywood. The “FX’s “Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette” star paired the high heels with a Givenchy fall 2026 leather dress.

The slip-on silhouette makes the Givenchy Boudoir heeled mules part of one of this summer’s biggest shoe trends, but the large bow and unique heel design separates them from other mules on the market. While women’s shoes have been leaning into simple, minimalist designs like thong heel sandals or sleek mules, the Boudoir line is bringing back the drama to footwear.
