‘Real Housewives of Miami’ star Lisa Hochstein turns herself in amid spying allegations

“Real Housewives of Miami” star Lisa Hochstein turned herself in to Miami authorities over allegations that she intercepted her ex-husband’s communications, her attorney confirmed on Wednesday.

Hochstein, 43, was booked with a bond of $5,000, according to the Miami Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation Center’s inmate records.

Jayne Weintraub, an attorney for Hochstein, said that the reality TV personality will be released on her own recognizance, meaning she will not have to pay bond.

“This matter is part of a contentious divorce proceeding and does not belong in criminal court,” Weintraub wrote in an email to NBC News.

Lisa Hochstein and Leonard “Lenny” Hochstein, a well-known plastic surgeon in Florida’s Miami-Dade County, were married for 13 years before the pair announced their split in 2022 and finalized their divorce in 2024. They share two children, a 10-year-old son and a 6-year-old daughter.

Lisa Hochstein and her ex-boyfriend, Jody Glidden, 52, are both facing one felony count of unlawfully intercepting “oral statements by Leonard Hochstein and those Leonard Hochstein spoke with,” according to court documents filed in March.

Records in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida show that Glidden was also arrested on Sunday and released on a $5,000 bond the same day.

Glidden pleaded not guilty on Monday and requested that the court give him 15 more days to file legal motions, including motions to dismiss, challenging whether the charges are legally sufficient. He has also asked for a jury trial.

His attorney also waived Glidden’s personal appearance at his arraignment, which is scheduled for Thursday.

Bravo declined to comment. The cable network put “The Real Housewives of Miami” on pause last month amid low ratings. The show’s seventh season concluded in October.

Lisa Hochstein had previously accused Lenny Hochstein of “financially strangl[ing]” her, claims that he’s denied.

“Lisa uses these court filings to portray me poorly in the press,” Lenny Hochstein told PEOPLE in 2022. His then-girlfriend, Katharina Mazepa, also filed a restraining order against her.

In 2023, Lisa Hochstein confirmed her relationship with Glidden. The pair appeared to have ended things earlier this year.
