This event framed individuals who are convicted terrorists, or have been linked to supporting violence, as political prisoners. This glorifies terrorism, distorts facts and normalizes violence against civilians. Shockingly, there was no response from the government or the centre. It’s time PYM and other groups associated with PFLP were banned from Canada, before things get much worse.
