Let’s not forget that this is still wildly beyond the original MSRP for these bad boys. Yet, that’s just what we expect with Pokémon TCG these days. No matter how unfortunate it is, this is the price you often have to pay now, even from big retailers like Amazon. I also want to emphasize that this is “sold and shipped” directly from Amazon itself, and not via any third-party sellers.

When these ETBs can potentially bag you a $1500 card, such as Umbreon ex – 161/131, sometimes the high cost is considered worth it. I’m not entirely convinced myself, as after buying more than a few of these, you’re halfway there to just buying the pricey card outright anyway.
