The Triangle is changing, and XBOX Insiders can experience what is coming next before the September Update officially arrives.

This free playtest is open to everyone on XBOX Series X|S. You don’t need to own Wreck Runners to play. Bring up to three friends, climb aboard the ORCA, and help us test an unreleased build featuring content planned for the September Update.

During the playtest, crews can get an early look at:

• Temples, an entirely new type of location to explore and salvage
• Runner color customization
• A dangerous new underwater enemy hunting beneath the surface
• Paranormal Progression, creating new choices as crews push through a run
• Trustwell Lost Salvage, rewarding exploration beyond familiar areas
• New hazards, interface improvements, and more

The build includes support for 15 additional languages:

Arabic, German, Latin American Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Kazakh, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

If one of these is your preferred language, we would particularly appreciate hearing about anything that feels unclear, unnatural, untranslated, or difficult to read.

This is an unreleased development build, so players may encounter bugs and content may change before the September Update launches. Your feedback will help us improve the experience before release.

Start: Friday, September 4 at 10:00 AM PT (17:00 UTC)
End: Wednesday, September 9 at 10:00 AM PT (17:00 UTC)

How to Join

1. Sign-in on your XBOX Series X|S console and launch the XBOX Insider Hub app (or install the XBOX Insider Hub from the Store first if necessary)
2. Navigate to Previews > Wreck Runners
3. Select Join
4. Wait for the registration to complete and be directed to the Store and install Wreck Runners Playtest!

• Hold down the home button on your XBOX controller.
• Select Report a problem.
• Select the Games category and Wreck Runners Playtest subcategory.
• Fill out the form with the appropriate details to help our investigation.
