The Jellyfish floodgates have been opened.

After a widely available Triple White and a beachy tan Virginia Adistar Jellyfish were released in August, Pharrell Williams’ Shoe of the Year-winning sneaker collaboration is adding more styles to its arsenal in speedy fashion. Along with the upcoming yellow-accented Timber style, another brown shade is on the way in Dark Brown/Frozen Green.

The mint chocolate chip-like Pharrell Williams x Adidas Virginia Adistar Jellyfish is set for a September release. Williams’ latest Jellyfish style features a brown mesh base that’s accented with a bold Frozen Green TPU structure that also mixes in shades of tan and light green to balance things out. The sneaker’s standout color is its electric-like Frozen Green lines, which liven up the otherwise drab color combination.

Recent Adidas Virginia Adistar Jellyfish releases have seen wider availability compared to the first handful of styles to arrive at retail. There’s even been chatter that Adidas has overestimated the demand for the $300 sneaker, particularly with regards to the relatively plain Triple White look. As of publishing, the Triple White pair is still available from select retailers in scattered sizes following its Aug. 1 launch.

Williams’ Adidas Virginia Adistar Jellyfish debuted at retail during August 2025 in its highly limited Focus Olive/Orange colorway. Throughout the rest of ’25 and into 2026, releases remained scarce, but now it appears that Adidas is opening up the Jellyfish to wider availability. 

In December ’25, the Adidas Virginia Adistar Jellyfish was named Shoe of the Year at the 39th annual FN Achievement Awards. 

“It’s a great recognition for the brand and for the people behind the product,” Bjørn Gulden, chief executive officer at Adidas, told FN after the award was announced. “Pharrell is one of the most creative persons on the planet and is a unique partner for us. The shoe captures this.  Awards are nice, but what really matters is how excited consumers are about the shoe. That makes us proud as a team. It’s always good when creativity and relevance come together.”

The Pharrell Williams x Adidas Virginia Adistar Jellyfish in Dark Brown/Frozen Green will be released Sept. 19 for a retail price of $300 from Williams’ Black Yacht Rock e-commerce store, the Adidas Confirmed app and select third-party retailers.
