PGA Championship 2026: So many players tied for No. 1 and more from the third round


Round 3 of the 2026 PGA Championship has seen a crowded leaderboard.

At one point in the third round, a full seven players had a share of the No. 1 spot: Matti Schmid, Nick Taylor, Aaron Rai, Jon Rahm, Ludvig Åberg, Maverick McNealy and Alex Smalley. All in all, a full 21 players were within two shots of the lead, including Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele, and Scottie Scheffler.
