Pause of Indigenous rights act won't be confidence vote, B.C. election prospect fades




VICTORIA — British Columbia Premier David Eby says he may extend the current legislative session to find support among individual First Nations for his plans to suspend parts of the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act.
