Nominations open for BIV Influential Women in Business awards



Business in Vancouver is seeking outstanding B.C. women leaders for its annual awards program

Nominations are now open for the Influential Women in Business Awards.

Business in Vancouver is seeking B.C.’s outstanding businesswomen in private or public sector companies. Honourees are chosen based on the criteria of professional accomplishments, influence and business community involvement. Winners will be profiled in a winter issue of Business in Vancouver and honoured at a gala awards luncheon in March 2027.

Founded in 2000, the awards program spotlights exceptional corporate and community leadership by women business leaders across the province. The awards have recognized 149 women over the past 27 years.

Recent winners include:

  • Bridgitte Anderson, CEO, Greater Vancouver Board of Trade
  • Lynda Brown-Ganzert, founder and CEO, RxPx
  • Kristy James, president and CEO, Burnaby Hospital Foundation
  • Cathy Thorpe, president and CEO, Nurse Next Door Home Care Services
