Nike‘s duo of mind-altering shoes have been a major hit in 2026. Both the sneaker and mule have been difficult to keep in stock, including numerous colorways. Right now, the Mind 002 sneaker can only be found in a handful of sizes — but an upcoming release will bring a form of detailing never used prior.

The Nike Mind 002 will release soon in a predominantly black colorway making use of multiple colored accents. The star of the show is red-to-blue gradient trim running around the tongue, collar and heel. Those two colors then repeat throughout, as the nueroscience-backed nodules are rendered in red and anchored by blue outsole panels at the toe and heel. A red pull tab at the heel is also hit with a dotted pattern, while the upper’s Swoosh is rendered in metallic silver to match the heel badges.

January marked the debut of Nike’s Mind franchise, which uses mapped nodules underneath the point to activate pressure points inducing sensations of calm and focus. Intended for wear before and after competition, the Mind 001 mule and Mind 002 sneaker were the first products to come out of Nike’s Mind Science team.

Of the two, the Mind 001 is slightly more popular and still remains even more difficult to come by a pair. Chief executive officer Elliott called the two shoes the company’s “highlight” of the third quarter of 2026 during its earning report and said that it would double production in order to meet demand.

In addition to new colorways throughout the year, the Mind 002 has also released with a Flyknit upper that debuted in collaboration with Fragment.

The Nike Mind 002 in “Black/Indigo Burst/Hyper Punch/Metallic Platinum” will release during the fall 2026 cycle, which is already underway, via Nike’s website and select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $145.
