We may be in the dog days of summer, but Nike is already prepping for the fall with a new look for one of its most popular sneakers.

While the Air Force 1’s Timberland-like Wheat (aka Flax) colorway has been an autumnal staple for decades at this point, it looks as though the Beaverton, Ore.-based brand will soon reference another one of the boot maker’s most iconic looks. But rather than the yellow Premium 6-Inch Waterproof Boots, the latest Air Force 1 takes a page from Timberland’s “Beef and Broccoli” Field Boots — and adds in some glossy patent leather to give the AF1 its own identity. 

With a full colorway of Black Spruce/Burgundy Crush/Black, the upcoming pair’s inclusion of burgundy is somewhat deceiving as it reads more of a shiny brown thanks to its patent leather sheen. The patent material is reserved only for the Burgundy Crush panels and black Swoosh logo, while the rest of the shoe’s Black Spruce shade is presented in a more traditional smooth leather.

Two sets of shoelaces come packaged with the shoes, offering wearers a choice between thick rope laces or a more standard flat cotton look.

Much of the recent attention around the Air Force 1 has been centered on its remastered Air Force 1 ’01 style, which features a build more in line with the model’s early 2000s form. However, this upcoming “Beef and Broccoli” look will use the shoe’s more common Air Force 1 ’07 build.

Patent leather will continue to be a focus for the Air Force 1 as well, with several new looks lined up for the remainder of 2026.

The Nike Air Force 1 ’07 Beef and Broccoli is expected to be released as soon as Aug. 1 for a retail price of $125 with availability from Nike’s Snkrs app and select Nike Sportswear retailers. The style code for the new colorway is IX4088-352.
