Nicole Kidman teased Atelier Versace’s future under Pieter Mulier at the Los Angeles premiere of “Practical Magic 2” on Monday, and matched the designer’s lacy dress with a pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes.

Styled by Jason Bolden, Kidman once again channeled the witchy energy of her character Gillian Owens at the latest stop on the press tour for the anticipated sequel. Kidman and costar Sandra Bullock reprise their roles as the pair of witch sisters at the center of the original 1998 film “Practical Magic” — the sequel focuses on the next generation.
Kidman’s black lace dress by Mulier was matched in intricacy by her summer 2025 Manolo Blahnik pumps, which featured an embroidered design of interconnected lines resembling a mosaic, spider-web or vines; the pattern was further embellished with floral designs along the upper. The back of the style was black and elevated by a stiletto heel. As for the rest of the silhouette, the toe was sharply pointed and the vamp featured a retro outline recalling a smoking slipper.

Kidman’s dress, marking Mulier’s debut design as chief creative officer at Versace after leaving Alaïa, was an asymmetric silhouette made from hand-intarsia lace. The bodice was fitted and the flowy skirt fell with a dramatically uneven hemline. A lace choker rounded out the ensemble with an additional romantic edgy touch.
