NFL Week 4 uniforms: Browns wearing ‘Alpha Dawg’ look; Giants go ‘Legacy’

As the calendar turns to October, NFL uniforms remain as fresh as ever with an alternate-heavy slate in Week 4.

On “Thursday Night Football,” the Cleveland Browns will wear their “Alpha Dawg” combination against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Cleveland revealed the all-brown threads in July 2025 with a brand new alternate brown helmet. They debuted last season and marked the first time in franchise history that a brown helmet was worn. Orange-colored numbers run across the front and back of the jersey, as well as on the shoulder. There’s also an orange stripe on the helmet.

In the throwback space, the New York Giants are donning their legacy uniforms against the Arizona Cardinals. New York wore these threads from 1980 to 1999. It was reintroduced in 2022, when the team brought back the navy helmet. Other design elements include classic numbers plus the red-and-blue trim on the jerseys and pants, similar to the uniforms of the 1980s and ’90s. Written inside the collar is “Once a Giants, Always a Giant,” the words of late owner Wellington Mara.

The Carolina Panthers, meanwhile, will bring an all-black look to “Sunday Night Football” against the Detroit Lions. Carolina first debuted this all-black combination in 2022.

The Dallas Cowboys are rocking navy blue alternates with silver pants against the Houston Texans, a look the team will wear only a handful of times each season. The Texans will wear liberty white jerseys with deep steel blue pants. It marks the same uniform matchup the Texans and Cowboys wore for Houston’s first regular-season game as a franchise in 2002.

The New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons on Monday will honor the 20th anniversary of the Saints’ return to the Superdome following Hurricane Katrina by wearing the same uniform combinations they wore for the emotional and memorable “Monday Night Football” matchup on Sept. 25, 2006. The Saints will wear white jerseys and gold pants, and the Falcons will be in their red jerseys and white pants.

Here’s a look at the Week 4 uniforms for all 32 NFL teams.
