Naomi Osaka was ready for round two at the U.S. Open in more ways than one. The four-time Grand Slam champion debuted a second walk-on look and Nike tennis kit at the final Grand Slam of the season in New York City on Thursday, where Osaka defeated Czech tennis player Kateřina Siniaková.

Osaka’s look took classic tennis whites to new heights. The athlete wore a Thom Browne design complete with a flowing, netted jacket with utilitarian embellishments, buttons and the designer’s signature stripes in a shade of gray.

Small tennis rackets featured on the jacket as well, popping the look even more for an overall tenniscore edge. Osaka’s walk-on look revealed another Nike kit beneath, this time forgoing black colorways in favor of gray and white, further augmented by Osaka’s visor and the gray stripes of her Thom Browne jacket.

The Nike kit continued the basketball theme, with a netted element underneath a metallic silver tennis skirt and a coordinated tank top with a basketball jersey quality.

The day session tennis kit and walk-on look is a departure from Osaka’s night match ensemble, which she debuted on Monday night. Upon walking on Arthur Ashe Stadium, Osaka revealed her customized Who Decides War ensemble.

The outfit, comprised of a gray hoodie with a voluminous tulle skirt and fabric featuring newspaper clippings and headlines from Osaka’s career, took inspiration from former NBA Rookie of the Year and 11-time NBA All-Star Allen Iverson.

Among the differences between her night session and daytime Nike kit, aside from the colorways, Osaka also sported a black Nike headband, which created another nod to Iverson.

The 2026 U.S. Open kicked off on Sunday and runs through Sept. 13. Aryna Sabalenka vies for a three-peat with another women’s singles championship title, while Carlos Alcaraz marks his return to the sport. American tennis stars like Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula and more will compete in the final Grand Slam of the season.
