Montreal youth accused of using AI to plot school…


A youth from Montreal is in custody after allegedly using artificial intelligence to plan an attack on a school, according to the RCMP.
The youth, whose identity was not released due to provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was arrested Friday morning.

Charges have not been laid, though the investigation is ongoing, police said in a news release.

The investigation began a few weeks ago after the FBI shared intelligence with the RCMP.
