Minister Ng Highlights Canadian Trade Gateway Advancing Nuclear Partnerships in the Indo-Pacific


November 19, 2024 – The Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade, and Economic Development, will join representatives from Canada’s nuclear energy community to share Canada’s vision for strengthening nuclear partnerships in the Indo-Pacific through the Canadian Trade Gateway.

This announcement highlights the expanding role of the nuclear sector in advancing health, food, and agriculture, while contributing to energy security and the global clean energy transition. By fostering collaboration in the Indo-Pacific, Canada is creating new opportunities and high-quality jobs, bolstering growth and innovation in both regions.
