Season 8, officially titled Sins of Alchemax, of Marvel Rivals is coming on May 15 with the addition of an apex predator. Devil Dinosaur, who is quite literally a dinosaur, is joining the fray and devouring the enemy team along the way. As it’s a new season, there are also new features coming your way, such as optimization for PC players.

Marvel Rivals Season 8 will be released on May 15. This Marvel Rivals update will start around 9 a.m. UTC, which translates to 5 a.m. EDT. Additionally, new season updates take around two hours to complete, so Season 8: Sins of Alchemax will be ready to play at around 7 a.m. EDT on Friday, May 15. Here’s when Marvel Rivals Season 8 will be released in your time zone:

• 4 a.m. PDT for the west coast of North America
• 7 a.m. EDT for the east coast of North America
• 8 a.m. BRT for Brazil
• 12 p.m. BST for the U.K.
• 1 p.m. CEST for western Europe
• 8 p.m. JST for Japan

What to expect in Marvel Rivals Season 8

The biggest addition to Marvel Rivals in Season 8 is Devil Dinosaur, a new prehistoric vanguard. This red T.rex-like dinosaur will literally shake the battlefield as he stomps, leaps, and bites his way through the enemy team. However, that’s not all, as Devil Dinosaur can deploy a shield and emit a laser from his mouth. Back liners will have to keep their distance as this mighty beast can eat you up and spit you out into their team, which will lead to a swift death.

Other than Devil Dinosaur, the Season 8 update introduces a couple new features:

• College students can use their university email to unlock 10 skins.
• PC players can now uninstall the high-resolution texture pack to free up disk space.
• A new team-up ability between the Punisher and Devil Dinosaur that allows the vigilante to ride on top of the apex predator.
