Left On Friday and Clare V. Debut Limited-Edition Swimwear Capsule

Left on Friday and Clare V. have partnered on a limited-edition summer swimwear capsule, marking the performance swim brand’s largest collaboration to date and Clare V.’s first move into swimwear.

The 27-piece collection fuses Left on Friday’s signature silhouettes and technical fabric with Clare V.’s hand-drawn prints and California-meets-Paris aesthetic. It includes swim styles in patterns such as Lucky Stripe and Check It, along with neutrals like Cold Brew and a sporty Tropic green, plus accessories including an exclusive colorway of Clare V.’s Giant Trop Avion tote.

Clare Vivier, founder of Clare V., said the collaboration felt like a natural extension of her brand. “I was a customer and fan of Left on Friday before we decided to collaborate with them,” she told WWD. “Their suits fit really well, and the fabrics are great. Their aesthetic seemed perfect: lighthearted, but sporty, chic, and flattering. The fact that they are female-owned and Southern California-based made me want to work with them on our first collection.”

Vivier also said the partnership let her import her brand’s DNA into swim in a way that felt authentic. “Clare V. is known for joyful color and prints but always with a balance of grounding solid neutral,” she said. “The check print feels distinctly Clare V. and is also uncommon in swimwear.”

Laura Low Ah Kee and Shannon Savage, cofounders of Left on Friday, said Clare V. had been on their partnership wishlist for years. “Clare V. has been at the top of our partnership list since before we launched, so seeing this come to life is a dream come true,” they said. “There is such a natural synergy between our brands. We share a common language when it comes to bold color, the art of mixing and matching, and a dedication to timeless quality.”

The capsule centers on Left on Friday’s Smoothing Dream Fabric, which the founders say is technical but designed to work across beach, surf and everyday settings. “Product versatility has always been core to our brand,” Shannon said. “We’ve always believed that women shouldn’t have to choose between a suit that is flattering and one they can actually live in.”

Laura added that the collection was built for a woman who moves through different parts of her day. “We built this collection for the woman who’s doing it all: from surfing in the morning to lunch at the beach club and relaxing by the pool later,” she said. “You can sweat in them, move in them or style them with a jacket for dinner.”

The collection includes standout pieces like the Sunday Suit in Check It and an exclusive beach tote. “The Sunday Suit in Check It is a total standout for us,” Shannon said. “It really proves the heart of this collab: you never have to choose between trendy design and high-quality fabric.”
