Laura Wasser Partners With Reformation for Post-Valentine’s Day Collab


Reformation is ready to move on from Valentine’s Day. The sustainable women’s clothing and accessories brand partnered with American attorney specializing in divorce Laura Wasser for a new campaign and limited-edition pieces that puts a positive spin on post-divorce life titled The Divorce Collection with Laura Wasser.

“We like to partner with unexpected talent in a way that feels true to Ref and in conversation with the cultural landscape,” Lauren Caris Cohan, chief creative officer of Reformation, told WWD. “Laura is the trailblazer in her field, someone who paved the way for many women to get what they deserve. Without her, no one would be wearing divorce rings today, which makes her the perfect person to help us bounce back from our first boyfriend.”

Featuring Wasser in a series of glam looks captured by photographer Zoey Grossman for Reformation, the campaign spotlights an assortment of sustainable styles. Bold accessories and bodycon dresses feature throughout the luxurious campaign, and the collection spotlights a limited-edition piece with a cause.

The Laura Wasser x Reformation collaboration includes the limited-edition “Dump Him” sweatshirt, designed in a classic crewneck silhouette with long sleeves and the phrase “Dump Him” embossed in black on the gray fabric. One-hundred percent of net proceeds from purchases of the sweatshirt will go to the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law, an organization that provides free direct legal assistance to more than 500 low-income persons and 650 children annually.

With the “Dump Him” sweatshirt, Reformation and Wasser also revive a beloved early 2000s pop culture moment. Back in 2002, Britney Spears famously wore a Juicy Couture baby T-shirt with the exact same phrase embossed on the fabric.

With the revitalization of Y2K styles and 2000s trends, the T-shirt certainly had a resurgence and continues to be a cultural touchstone, as evidenced by Reformation and Laura Wasser’s post-Valentine’s Day collaboration.

Wasser has worked with several high-profile clients, from Heidi Klum to Kim Kardashian, Hilary Duff and many more. The attorney is also the host of podcasts “All’s Fair With Laura Wasser”  and “Divorce Sucks! With Laura Wasser.”
