This week’s roundup for staffing changes on Parliament Hill.
We start this week’s Hill Movers with the Prime Minister’s Office.

Laura Seeley joins the PMO as the senior advisor for the ministerial regional offices for the territories.
“Anyone who knows me knows how deeply I’ve always been into politics – and how much I love the North,” Seeley wrote in a post on LinkedIn.
“Getting to combine those two things in this role feels pretty special.”
Before joining the PMO, Seeley served as the communications manager at Council of Yukon First Nations.
Seeley also previously served as director of communications and press secretary to the Yukon government for two years.
Over in the Senate, Lauren Stokes is now the communications lead for the Office of the Government Representative.
“Very grateful to work for such a brilliant Senator who encourages me to wear different hats at this point in my career, and looking forward to working closely with Senator Moreau and the whole GRO team,” Stokes wrote in a post on LinkedIn.

She previously worked in Senator Stan Kutcher’s office and later worked on communications for the Senators for Climate Solutions group.
She was hired as an executive assistant to Senator Patti LaBoucane-Benson, legislative deputy to the Government Representative in 2024, and was promoted to parliamentary affairs advisor last year, a position she maintains while leading communications.
