La Prairie Partners With Carlton Hotel Spa for Luxe Swiss Treatments

Cannes’ historic Carlton Hotel is adding a Swiss, science-based touch to its offering, launching a new partnership between its C Club Spa and skin care brand La Prairie, including a signature treatment created exclusively for the hotel.

The new treatment offers a bespoke facial, starting with a skin diagnosis followed by a personalized massage combined with highly targeted tools. Therapists tailor treatments using the brand’s products, such as its Skin Caviar collection, alongside “Kobido-inspired techniques to re-energize, lymphatic drainage work to detoxify, [and] sculpting movements to support muscle tone,” translating the brand’s cellular science into touch, a spokesperson for the brand explained.

La Prairie frames its skin care through the lens of “cellular longevity,” and shifts the focus from achieving quick surface results to supporting the long-term health and resilience of the skin — an approach rooted in the brand’s Swiss clinical heritage.

Beyond the treatment menu, the collaboration reflects a wider shift in luxury hospitality, where spas are increasingly becoming destinations in their own right, not just hotel add-ons.

“We are seeing our clientele’s expectations evolving profoundly. An indulgent moment is no longer enough,” the spokesperson said. “Guests are looking for experiences that are exceptional and deeply personal.”

The C Club Spa has been designed as a cocoon-like environment that contrasts with the pace of the Croisette outside. Accessed via a discreet entrance on the quieter side street Rue Einésy, the spa is all softness and seclusion, with low lighting and calm colors.

Inspired by Swiss landscapes such as icy lakes, alpine peaks and forests, the treatments are designed to translate ideas of purity into a physical experience, reinforced through aromatherapy, with protocols balancing “invigorating stimulation” and more restorative, grounding moments.

For La Prairie, the Carlton partnership extends the brand’s strategy.

“We carefully curate our partnerships, because for us true luxury goes beyond the word itself — it is craftsmanship, a way of being, a level of service, and an attention to detail. The Carlton embodies all of that. It is a legend of the Croisette, and a natural fit for La Prairie on the French Riviera,” the spokesperson said.

A 90-minute treatment is priced at 400 euros.
