Kenan Yildiz: What United are willing to offer for Juventus sensation

Matheus Cunha emerged as the match-winner for Manchester United in their crucial clash against Chelsea.

Cunha showed his killer instincts in front of goal with a superb first-time finish to put United ahead at Stamford Bridge. The Brazilian has produced a number of such decisive moments for the Red Devils in his maiden season.

Still, many fans may argue that the return of eight Premier League goals and two assists is underwhelming from United’s first-choice left winger.

Manchester United’s plot to sign Kenan Yildiz

According to SportsBoom, Manchester United are seeking a “new icon” and have made Juventus jewel Kenan Yildiz their “top target” for the summer transfer window.

It is claimed that United are preparing to knock on Juventus’ door with a package worth around €90 million (£78.3m) for the technically gifted playmaker, who is capable of playing out wide on the left as well as through the middle.

The former Bayern Munich gem is “a phenomenon and will be a Ballon d’Or winner in the future”, according to ex-United forward Giuseppe Rossi.

However, United’s alleged proposal for the 20-year-old, who has also attracted interest from Arsenal and Chelsea, is “insufficient” for Juventus.

Juventus reluctant to listen to offers for Kenan Yildiz

It is claimed Yildiz is seen as the heir to Alessandro Del Piero in Turin on the back of several encouraging campaigns in Serie A. Juventus’ hierarchy reportedly consider him the “face” of the club.

The Turkey international recently signed a contract until the summer of 2030, handing the Old Lady significant control over his future amid interest from Europe’s biggest clubs.

Kenan Yildiz Stats: 2025/26 Season

Juve’s current strategy is to build their team around Yildiz, and any suitor would reportedly have to put forward at least €100m to open talks with the Serie A giants.

United’s priority this summer is to overhaul their midfield, with a number of marquee names, including Real Madrid defensive midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni, on their list of targets.

As such, it is not far-fetched to assume the Premier League side would not break the bank to sign Yildiz.
