Last year, Dragami Games announced it was developing a brand-new Lollipop Chainsaw title, promising at the time to preserve and build upon the appeal of the original game.
In an update this week via social media, the developer has revealed Juliet’s new game will be featured at Tokyo Game Show 2026 later this month. Players will apparently be able to get an “early hands-on experience” in a “world premiere demo” at the SEGA/Atlus booth.
Along with a “life-size chainsaw display at the booth”, Juliet will also make an appearance in a “brand new outfit”. Beyond this, more details will be shared on the official Lollipop Chainsaw social channels. You can check out the new teaser artwork above and here’s a some PR from the initial announcement:
“Under the strong partnership between NADA HOLDINGS and Dragami Games, development is already underway on a brand-new LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW title that both preserves and builds upon the appeal of the original. With a firm commitment to honoring the spirit of the original work, the development team includes key staff members who were involved in the previous title. The new project is also being developed with close attention to fan feedback.”
Lollipop Chainsaw was originally released in 2012 and developed by Suda51’s Grasshopper Manufacture. Film director James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy, Suicide Squad) also co-wrote the script.
Dragami’s remaster Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP landed on the Switch in 2024, and it launched on the Switch 2 in May 2026. This version is a paid upgrade and includes higher screen resolution, improved graphics quality, and a new gun shooting mode (including Joy-Con 2 mouse support).
