Julien Farel, the legendary hairstylist, and his wife Suelyn are heading to the Hamptons this summer.

The couple will open their third salon and spa in the heart of Southampton on May 1, offering the same menu of lush services — including haircuts and colors, nails, massages and facials — as the Park Avenue, New York, and Palm Beach, Fla., locations.

“I have always loved the Hamptons, from the morning serenity to the buzzy nightlife,” Julien said in the official press release. “After years of ongoing requests from our clients and team, we are so happy to establish a permanent maison here all year long.”

At 3,000 square feet, the new site is the former home of La Carezza Salon, which Julien and Suelyn, the chief executive officer of Julien Farel Group, acquired in April. According to the brand, the deal was closed within 24 hours.

The expansion comes as the company celebrates 25 years in business and 12 years since it opened its flagship location inside the Loews Regency Hotel in New York. The company is also approaching its 18th year of opening its salon inside the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center for players participating in the U.S. Open.

In a previous interview with WWD, Julien said his tenacity as a founder and stylist stems from a deep love of the industry, which he’s spent most of his life working in. “It takes a long time to get to where you want to go. Even after doing it for some time, people ask why I still do it. And for me, I work for beauty, I work for passion and I love my industry,” he said.

On growing the business, Julien said: “It’s always about discipline. It’s the same thing as even learning to play the piano. It’s discipline, focus, hard work. There is no mystery to success.”
