MILAN – Jil Sander has appointed Marco Viganò as the brand’s new chief executive officer, effective immediately.

He will report to OTB Group CEO Ubaldo Minelli, who has led Jil Sander on an interim basis during the transition period, following the exit of Serge Brunschwig in July 2025 after six months in the role.

“Jil Sander is a brand with a strong creative heritage and a distinctive identity that make it unique in the global luxury landscape. Marco’s experience and knowledge of international markets will contribute to the brand’s growth journey, supporting its development and further strengthening its positioning” Minelli stated on Tuesday.

Viganò previously served as global chief client officer and president EMEA at Moncler, where he led client development and customer experience strategies, strengthening the relationship between the brand and its international clientele.

He has developed his career in commercial and operational leadership roles, including chief commercial officer at Audemars Piguet and chief operating officer at Saint Laurent. He also held positions at Louis Vuitton, Gucci and L’Oréal. His experience was built across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Russia, alongside experience gained at McKinsey & Company.

Viganò holds a degree in economics and business from Università Cattolica in Milan.

Jil Sander is controlled by OTB Group, founded by Renzo Rosso, and is designed by Simone Bellotti.

OTB also comprises Diesel, Maison Margiela, Marni, Viktor & Rolf and a stake in Amiri, as well as production arms Staff International and Brave Kid.
