JBL Clip 5

$45 (original price: $70)

Clip 5 is our favorite not just for its good sound in a compact size, but also for its redesigned carabiner, which makes it even easier to clip on and carry wherever you go. According to CNET’s experts, the speaker sounds slightly better than its predecessor.

Another strong feature of the Clip 5 is its battery life. A single charge lasts up to 12 hours. It uses Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio, which provides a reliable wireless connection while keeping your music sounding good. It’s also dust-proof and waterproof, so a little water or dirt won’t ruin the party. All these amazing features helped it earn an 8.2 and a spot on our list of the best supersmall Bluetooth speakers.

You can use the JBL Portable app to manage the Clip 5 remotely. Plus, it also supports multi-speaker connectivity via Auracast, so you can connect more JBL speakers for a bigger setup.
