Iran-Oman Talks Focused on Restarting Hormuz Shipping Traffic


US President Donald Trump told Axios on Monday that “deep talks” are taking place, though he didn’t specify if they are about the Strait of Hormuz. The discussions are mainly between Iran and Oman, Axios reported, with Qatar, Pakistan, Egypt and Trump’s envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, also involved.
