Both Prabhsimran and Iyer have been crucial for PBKS so far this tournament with their consistent run-making. Prabhsimran, the opener, has scores of 37, 43, 51 and 80 not out to tally 211 runs from four innings at a strike rate of 172.95, while Iyer has so far hit 18, 50, 69 not out and 66 to accumulate 203 runs, and is at No. 6 on the table.
Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, the table-topper not long ago, has slipped to seventh place after his duck against SRH earlier in the week.
The top wicket-takers’ table is unchanged all the way from No. 1 to No. 9, but MI’s Shardul Thakur, courtesy the wicket of Iyer on Thursday, has entered the top ten. He is at No. 10 with six wickets, the same as RCB’s Jacob Duffy and Vaibhav Arora of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
The table is led by Prasidh Krishna of Gujarat Titans (GT) and Anshul Kamboj of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), both with ten wickets, followed by Prince Yadav and Ravi Bishnoi, of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and RR respectively, who have nine wickets apiece. Below them with seven wickets each are RR’s Jofra Archer, and the RCB duo of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Krunal Pandya.
