Ice dance bronze for Canadians Piper Gilles, Paul Poirier


This season, Gilles and Poirier turned over the reins to Bobby and Sally Ackbarali, Toronto-based designers. On Wednesday, Gilles skated on to the ice in a dress that shimmered from shoulder to knee in a sequined tribute to the famous painting, ending in a flowy asymmetrical skirt. Poirier wore a shimmery blue blouse, a shade darker than Gilles’ dress, paired with black pants.
