The original wording was a quote from “Shachi Kurl, president of the Angus Reid Institute, [who] told CBC’s Aarti Pole the responses to both poll questions “indicate overwhelming majorities” don’t want to leave Canada.”

It is important to note, how people respond to polling and surveys means absolutely nothing if they choose not to vote in the referendum when the time comes (October 19th).

In fact, voter turn out for referendums in Alberta is historically really low (less than 39% in the 2021 referendum) and if Albertans think this vote is in the bag, fewer people may turn out to vote, and the separatists who do feel strongly about this will vote and could win.

So if you feel strongly about Alberta remaining part of Canada, make a plan and VOTE ON OCTOBER 19th.
