GTA 6 reveal breakdown | PC Gamer

Alright, we’ve finally seen some real, official, brand new GTA 6 gameplay. Regardless of any more leaks springing, there’s something concrete out there for us to pull apart. I was expecting some disembodied commentary voiceover but it was actually just pure cutscenes and gameplay for 26 minutes. The timeline jumped around a whole lot so Jason and Lucia’s story still isn’t super clear, but we can still make sense of a bunch of combat and crime features that were included.

It does initially look like a prettier, bigger GTA 5, but there are places where Rockstar has borrowed from Red Dead Redemption 2 to good effect too. Here’s all the biggest bits you’ll want to know about GTA 6 from the reveal (and yes, some do overlap with stuff we saw from those leaks).

Where to watch it yourself

Major features in the GTA 6 gameplay reveal

GTA 6 - Jason and Lucia robbing a gas station

Criminal Profile

Similar to Red Dead Redemption 2’s Honor System, GTA 6 tracks how Jason and Lucia act and there are little angel and devil popups to let you know when you’ve done wrong or right. Pet a dog? Good. Escalate to violence when you didn’t need to? Naughty.

GTA 6 - tactical shooting

More tactical shooting

GTA 6 has a reticle when aiming a gun, not just a dot. Sometimes you can see and target specific body parts while aiming to take an enemy out from the legs instead of going lethal.

GTA 6 reveal - wanted levels

Wanted level breakdown

When you’re wanted by the police they may get a description of you, your car, clothes, and whether you’re solo or together. Changing any of those factors helps evade them.

No official map reveal

Aside from what’s turned up in the leaks from the past weeks, we haven’t seen an official GTA 6 map still.

No mention of GTA Online

No mention of any GTA Online version of GTA 6 or an upgrade to the current GTAO still.
