Greta Lee gave sheer styling a deconstructed edge with her look from The Row at “The Last House” photo call alongside her costar, Oscar-nominated actor Wagner Moura, on Sunday at London’s Soho Hotel.

The “Past Lives” breakout star turned to The Row’s resort 2027 collection. Styled by Danielle Goldberg, who also counts “The Bear” Emmy winner Ayo Edebiri and “The Batman” actress Zoë Kravitz among her clients, Lee’s look added a twist to popular sheer styling.

Lee’s look consisted of wide-leg black trousers and a deconstructed white top with sheer sleeves and ruffled embellishments. The white dress shirt was the statement piece of Lee’s photo call look, merging understated elegance with modernity.

The sheer sleeves, though, offered a fresh take on see-through dressing. Sheer looks are regularly seen at high-profile red carpet events and have been incorporated into sensual statements. Lee’s version offered a more contemporary, deconstructed variation on the trend.

Founded in 2006 by Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, The Row continued its embrace of minimalist luxury with its resort 2027 collection. Clean lines and pared back designs elevated the collection, emphasizing the American label‘s signature construction.

“The way Greta and I work is very much of one mind,” Goldberg previously told WWD of her collaborative relationship with Lee.

“We have a language that has become secondhand at this point and more often than not I see one look and send it to her for that specific event and the fitting is done. We have a way of working together that is in some ways difficult to explain but really goes back to a decade of collaboration. Everything is done with intention and with a great deal of trust.”

Netflix’s “The Last House” follows a family of four who find themselves locked inside their home, struggling with dwindling resources as they try to uncover what is keeping them stuck inside. The horror movie arrives Friday on the streaming service.
